Any oil-based products that are spilt on the new surface must be removed as soon as possible to avoid staining and the breakdown of the material structure.
Immediately soak up the liquid with sawdust, dry sand, absorbent paper and discard safely. Brushing the surface with soapy water may also help to remove some of the oil from the surface but may still leave some staining.

We had a large drive project done by Edwards Surfacing in May 2025 near Cambridge. Great service from the initial visit through the quotation to completion. Steve, Martin, Dave and the rest of the site team were all friendly, knowledgeable and hardworking. The work was done in the timescale agreed and the neighbours very happy with how the lads were flexible with moving vans / plant that blocked any access points. The new drive looks great!
